Our client are seeking a skilled Senior Corporate Accountant to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, and provide strategic financial insights. This role is a fixed term contract to June 2025 to cover parental leave.
As a Senior Corporate Accountant, you will lead financial operations, guide the finance team, and contribute to strategic decision-making processes. Your expertise in corporate accounting and financial management will be crucial to the continued success of this highly respected organisation.
Detailed Responsibilities:
Financial Leadership: Prepare and analyse financial and management reports to support strategic decisionsAccount Reconciliation: Oversee account reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial recordsBudgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads for aligned budgeting and forecastingMonth-end and Year-end Processes: Lead timely and accurate closing processesFinancial Controls: Implement robust financial controls and proceduresRegulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting regulationsStrategic Projects: Spearhead ad-hoc projects, contributing to the organisation's growthExpertise in accounting principles and financial conceptsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting softwareDetail-oriented with high accuracyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyPersonal Attributes:
