You will be the first point of contact on specific strategic objective areas for EECA.In this role you will:Develop and deliver effective communication strategies to promote EECA's workLead briefings for channel specialistsManage day-to-day media enquiries and build relationships with key media suppliers and journalistsIdentify and manage communications risksTo be successful in this role, you will have:5+ years of experience in Communications – either in a PR or Government agencyStrong written communication skills for a range of mediaExperience with media managementAn interest in energy-related topics and a willingness to learnAn important opportunity to join a government agency with a strong focus on delivery, to do meaningful work with motivated people that has a tangible impact on the lives of New Zealanders.Access to a well-utilised social clubAn excellent working environment – with a dynamic work culture.EECA's mission is to mobilise New Zealanders to be world leaders in clean and clever energy use.
