Your Impact: Jacobs coastal team is growing. We are looking for aSenior Coastal Engineerto join our ANZ Ports and Maritime Team to support the continued growth and success in the ports and coastal market. Our group of dedicated coastal engineers and modellers support the delivery of a range of impressive national and international projects ranging from coastal resilience programs in the Pacific Islands to the design of major coastal engineering developments across the globe. In your role as aSenior Coastal Engineeryou will be a key project lead responsible for the project management and delivery of our portfolio of coastal projects.Your technical skills in coastal field will be of key importance and you will be capable of developing, designing, and facilitating the documentation of complex coastal engineering and modelling solutions to exceed client expectations. Your focus will be in the areas of project leadership, coastal design/modelling, engaging with senior engineers and technical leaders, supporting junior members of the team, and delivering outputs and packages for multidisciplinary projects. You will work collaboratively with other members of the ports & maritime and wider Jacobs team across multiple disciplines, including mentoring of less experienced staff, providing inputs to tender bids and marketing to external and internal clients. This role is flexible on location – Australia and New Zealand wide. Here's what you'll need: Extensive experience in leading and delivering coastal engineering and modelling projects Relevant Engineering Qualifications (Chartered or near Chartered professional) Experience in the design of coastal management and coastal infrastructure works Coastal modelling experience Developed project management skills coupled with commercial acumen and excellent organisational, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Up to date knowledge of relevant Australian and international design standards, codes and practices Jacobs.
