The role | Mo te tunga
Reporting to the Head of Product, you will be responsible for architecture and design to address the use of cloud providers, systems, middleware, and application needs. You will play a key role in the planning, implementing and delivery of cloud applications, servers, storage solutions and, security. The role will have a strong focus on providing capability that can be leveraged across an entire portfolio of products and services.
The role will be critical to the business unit’s roadmaps and will offer not only a platform for you to demonstrate existing knowledge, but also up-skill and develop to further your own career. You will assist the wider team in building out the DevOps practice and CI/CD pipeline, transitioning onto cloud environments.
Starting Salary $96,147.00 neg depending on skills and experience.
About you | Mou
We’re looking for someone with strong technical skills, with a privacy and security by design mindset. To be successful in this role, you will have:
3 years’ experience in deploying and designing secure cloud-based systems with skills around computing, networking, databases, developer tools and security, preferably with AWS
AWS Certification as an Associate Solutions Architect is required
AWS Certification as a Security Specialist is desirable (but not essential)
Understanding equivalent systems of at least one other cloud provider system, preferably Azure;
Microsoft Associate certifications as Azure Administrator and/or Azure Security Engineer required if Azure is your preferred environment
Competency to help design the appropriate systems. Experience in GitHub, Docker, JavaScript or Terraform are preferable.
Proven experience in developing and managing CI/CD deployment pipelines.
Have strong documentation skills with an appropriate level of detail for the receiving audience.
