Senior Civil Engineer - Rotorua / Matamata Maven BOP Rotorua Central, Bay of Plenty We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer for our ever-growing workload and team in the Waikato and Bay of Plenty area. A minimum of 7 years' experience is required. This position is available in either the Rotorua, or Matamata office. Your role will require you to manage and carry out civil engineering and design for projects preparing drawings in accordance with relevant standards and, where necessary, provide information and direction to draughting staff to produce 'finished' drawings/plans. You will be involved in the preparation of tender documents and assisting with the assessment of tenders. You will be required to supervise and administer contracts, attend client meetings, and undertake business development work associated with engineering projects. You will be responsible for managing, tracking, and reporting the progress of works and ensuring they are managed in accordance with the terms of their contracts, and other authorities. Close liaison with Directors and Managers on job progress and particularly any indications that deadlines/targets may not be achieved. Requirements: Relevant tertiary education (BE, NZDE, BEngtech). 7+ years' experience in the Civil Engineering Industry. Experience with AutoCAD/Civil3D/12D. Understanding construction contracts specifically NZS3910 A high standard of written and verbal communication skills. A confident/ professional approach whilst working onsite. Comfortable working out on site conducting inspections of work and resolution of issues.
