Permanent, full-time role for a Senior Business Systems Analyst

The Team
CDHB are looking for a person with a relevant tertiary ICT qualification, with strong business analysis skills mixed with some technical IT capabilities, to join our diagnostic services team. This team support a variety of applications with an emphasis on laboratory diagnostic reporting systems. This role will be responsible for our infection control systems.
The Role
This is a hands-on role, where primarily you will be responsible for supporting ICNet, our Infection Prevention software and the Surgical Site Infection National Monitor which is hosted for a number of District Health Boards.
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
Working with our customers around New Zealand to ensure the application is being utilised to its full functional potential
As part of a wider team, ensuring all our applications are well maintained and up to date with the latest versions and providing support
Being first point of contact and maintaining excellent relationships and work plans with stakeholders such as the Health Quality and Safety Commission (HQSC), Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) and application vendor/s (e.g. Baxter Healthcare)
Ideally you will possess the following capabilities:

Advanced Excel skills and database query capability
Data interpretation and an eye for detail

Technical specification documentation capabilities
Planning, prioritisation and organisation capabilities

Some exposure to cloud computing
It would be an advantage having the following:
Experience working in a Health or laboratory IT environment
Exposure to working in an agile environment
