The role Horizons is seeking a suitably experienced Senior Business Analyst to join its Information Management team. We are looking for someone with a penchant for digital transformation, who can communicate benefit of end-to-end business process with stakeholders, and who can successfully build strategic relationships, alongside designing, implementing and maintaining business processes in a constantly evolving environment.
You will be involved in projects that will cover Council-wide solution implementations, along with bespoke Council solutions that will need to integrate into systems that will support council decision- making. An ability to understand and manipulate spatial data in this context would be an advantage. In this role, you will be working alongside internal project managers, business analysts, software developers, Council and external stakeholders, as well as subject matter experts.
About you We're looking for someone:
with at least 10 years' experience in IT, Information Management, data analysis or information system design, assessment and evaluation; who has a good understanding of modern development architectures and approaches; who is a highly adept and compelling communicator, both written and verbal; who is skilled at managing strategic relationships who is able to work autonomously or as part of a larger team; who has an appreciation of the long term opportunities presented by enabling and delivering information to our regional communities; who is a strong technical and business-oriented BA with a good understanding of data and integrations. This position would suit someone who has a proven ability to manage and analyse large volumes of data (financial, environmental, spatial, temporal data, structured and unstructured). Your sound knowledge of analysis techniques along with an excellent understanding of the principles of good data management, systems development and quality management will make you an ideal candidate.
