Senior Building Surveyor

This leading property, engineering and architectural consultancy are gearing up for additional work recently won and as a result are looking for additional resource. This represents a top opportunity for a skilled building surveyor to join the team and settle into a positive workplace culture.

The key components of this role involve: Expert building investigation, reporting and remediationDefect analysis esp. with respect to leaky buildingsCondition surveys and maintenance planningDispute resolution advisoryInsurance assessments and claimsMentoring and management In order to be a success in this role, you will have the following: 6+ years of ideally NZ/UK based experience in building surveying
A firm knowledge of NZ building codes
A handle on relevant contractual obligations and procedures
Versed in leaky building issues including identification, remedial design and contract administration
Project management
Encouragement and development of less experienced staff
Be appropriately tertiary qualified and be a member of NZIBS or RICS
