We're on the lookout for a versatile Backend Developer with hands-on experience in Java, Kotlin and Spring. The ideal candidate will help us engineer top-notch backend services. Here's what we're looking for you to tackle: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend systems using Kotlin + Spring + PostgreSQL. Implement, optimise, and maintain APIs for our web and mobile platforms. Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Mentor and help team members The qualifications you'll require: Experience: Minimum of 5 years of backend development experience with Java/Kotlin. Proven knowledge of designing efficient and scalable solutions Experience mentoring other developers Collaboration with stakeholders Skills & Knowledge: Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software development best practices. Deep understanding of database design, optimisation, and management. Preferably using PostgreSQL Proficiency with RESTful API design and development. Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
