You will work closely with experienced Managers and Partners across a variety of industry sectors, liaising directly with the clients and supervising more junior team members. You will build strong relationships with clients and ask questions that cut to the heart of their business in order to understand the risk, responding with technical expertise, intuition and insight.Your responsibilities will include: · Leading or assisting with audit assignments as part of a team at any or all stages of the assignment including planning, fieldwork, and completion Leading audit planning discussions as required, including identifying risks and assisting with the development of an appropriate audit approach Maintaining an overview of all aspects of audit fieldwork and completion as assigned, referring risks and issues to manager including a suggested response About You External audit experience CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent) in progress Exceptional communications skills, both written and verbal Confidence with systems and MS Office suite- advanced excel Solid organisation and time management Experience managing multiple audits simultaneously Work collaboratively as a part of a team and have fun About Our Culture At Grant Thornton we are committed to growing authentic and inclusive leaders who create a vibrant and innovative working environment that inspire and engage our people to perform to their potential.
