Senior Architectural Designer

The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated Senior Architectural Designer with this specialist building consultancy and NZIA practice. The team are friendly and supportive and there are plenty of support to develop your career in this growing studio.
In this role you will get to work on a variety of interesting and challenging projects nationwide with a very experienced team where you will lead projects through the detailed design and on-site phases of projects.

About You
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:
At least 7 years’ post graduate professional experience with at least 2 years practicing in the New Zealand market.
The ability to manage the design process including the production of detailed documentation to a range of project types.
A sound understanding of construction techniques, technical knowledge of building materials as well as ademonstrated working knowledge of the New Zealand Building Code and Building Act.
Comprehensive ArchiCAD experience.
Excellent communication skills and be able to coordinate with clients, consultants and contractors.
First-rate time management skills.
Exceptional quality management skills.
