About the Role
We are looking for a talented Oracle Apex developer to develop and maintain applications in an Oracle Apex environment. You’ll consult on complex business issues with a view to solving these through developing solutions to meet those business requirements.
You will work with a great team that is dynamic, growing and fun, providing an environment for people who enjoy challenges and success.
What you’ll do:
Design, code, and maintain the Oracle APEX applications based on established standards.
Write clear code and prepare coding documentations.
Provide technical assistance to other Developers as needed.
Analyze and troubleshoot system issues in a timely manner.
Develop database procedures using PL-SQL and UNIX/Linux shell scripts, where required.
Assist in system integration and acceptance testing
Perform support services for incident and problem management
What you’ll bring:
This is a senior role so we’re looking for someone with a wealth of Oracle database experience, including design, upgrades and performance tuning. You’ll be an avid problem solver, who loves diving into a challenge and learning on the job.
Ideally you’ll have
At least 4 year’s experience with Oracle APEX (prefer version 5x and exposure to V19)
Java development skills to develop Java code for customisation required in an APEX application
Exposure to calling API’s from APEX applications
Significant experience migrating entire APEX applications to new environments
Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices
AWS experience is highly regarded! (We know, we’re not asking much!)
