What you will doWe are creating a new team of data management and analytics specialists to design and deliver the New Zealand Defence Force's Enterprise Analytics system (including people, processes, practices, and technologies) to improve our strategic, operational and tactical decision making. As a Senior Analyst, you will bring technical leadership to the planning, development, and implementation of an enterprise approach to data management and analytics. You will provide best practice technical data management and analytics subject matter expertise for information management related initiatives. You have experience acting as a trusted advisor on how to improve data quality and mature data management and analytics practices. You are passionate about engaging with colleagues across the organisation to support the maturing of NZDF's data management and analytics people capability.Together, the team will ensure that the NZDF has confidence in its data and information as a trusted source and will enable decisions to be information-led so that we can exploit opportunities, prioritise resources, and resolve trade-offs.What we needThe Knowledge and Information Management Directorate (KIMD) is leading the design and delivery of a complex enterprise analytics systems for an organisation that performs all the functions of a small country, for the purpose of keeping New Zealand safe and secure.We require people who love being part of building something new!
