We are looking for a Senior Analyst based here in sunny Tauranga.About the roleOne of our team is going on parental leave and we are looking for a superstar to cover this period on a fixed term contract for 12 months.The purpose of the Senior Analyst is to take ownership of Middle Office models and reporting tools. We are seeking someone with proven experience working with statistical and risk modelling to lead improvements and delivery of governance and compliance reporting. This is also a mentor role that is actively engaged with the wider analytical community within Manawa Energy.The Senior Analyst is required to:Ensure existing governance and compliance reporting remains accurate and timelyTake management recommendations and lead change development in Middle Office modelling and reportingOur ideal candidate will:Bring a positive approach to their workHave strong analytical and reasoning skills to identify modelling and reporting development opportunitiesProvide mentorship to fellow analysts by assisting in development opportunities, peer reviewing work, and providing positive feedback in line with Manawa values.Be self-aware with good communication and feedback skillsWe're looking for an innovative problem-solver with a proven ability to deliver high-quality solutions using statistical modelling. Experience in the New Zealand energy market and/or futures trading is a plus.
