You will:Research and investigate waste management and minimisation activities to identify opportunities for CouncilContribute to the implementation of Council's Waste Management and Minimisation Plan and related strategiesLead projects that help the Council meet its Waste Management and Minimisation Plan objectivesAnalyse data to determine insights to inform Council's decision making on waste planning requirementsChampion behaviour change towards a more circular economyAbout youThe successful applicant will possess:Proven experience in the waste industry or a related fieldDemonstrated ability in waste management strategic planningFinely tuned skills in project managementA relevant tertiary qualificationThe following is advantageous though not essential:Experience in local government Data analytics experienceWhat next?A career with Hutt City Council offers you the satisfaction of contributing to your community, while working with likeminded people.
