About this role This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on the environment and the Lower Hutt Community. You will: Research and investigate waste management and minimisation activities to identify opportunities for Council Contribute to the implementation of Council's Waste Management and Minimisation Plan and related strategies Lead projects that help the Council meet its Waste Management and Minimisation Plan objectives Analyse data to determine insights to inform Council's decision making on waste planning requirements Champion behaviour change towards a more circular economy About you The successful applicant will possess: Proven experience in the waste industry or a related field Demonstrated ability in waste management strategic planning Finely tuned skills in project management A relevant tertiary qualification The following is advantageous though not essential: Experience in local government Data analytics experience What next?
