Senior Advisor, Programme Management Te Ao Marama ProgrammeFixed Term / Secondment OpportunityWellington CBD Te Haeata / The OpportunityThe Te Ao Marama Programme Office is seeking a Senior Advisor, Programme Management.The Senior Advisor puts the customer at the heart of everything we do to significantly contribute to the overall performance, efficiency, national consistency, and capability across the services delivered by the Te Ao Marama programme, and where appropriate, ensure we are in line with good practice delivered by the Ministry's Operations and Service Delivery (OSD).The Senior Advisor will be primarily engaged to provide programme management support including the development of programme strategies, plans and schedules.This position will also lead the development and implementation of systems and tools that enable effective and efficient programme management.The Senior Advisor also provides high quality advice and briefings for the Programme, programme governance and Ministers.The Senior Advisor may be required to work across the wider Ministry and establish strong relationships with other cross-agency Kaupapa.O pukenga / Skills and ExperienceNo candidate will meet every single desired qualification. If your experience looks a little different from what we have outlined and believe you can bring value to the role, we'd love to hear from you!Lead the development and implementation of tools and processes to support the Te Ao Marama programme.Develop strategies, plans and projects in consultation with the Te Ao Marama programme manager, workstream leads, Iwi, community, and judiciary.Define the scope of projects and work schedules in consultation with the Te Ao Marama programme manager, work stream leads, Iwi, community, and judiciary.Develop a strong understanding of the programme deliverables and objectives.Provide high quality analysis and reporting to support the programme and governance, including budget, risks, and issues, in agreed format and within agreed timeframes.Identify resource requirements to deliver on projects.Lead and co-lead projects and other discrete pieces of work.Identify, define, and refine project benefits.Monitor progress against project milestones and deliverables in accordance with project plans.Conduct post implementation reviews (e., Investment Delivery Framework and Project Evaluation Review) to identify learning and improvement opportunities for the future.Apply previous learning to future projects.
