Senior Advisor Projects (Research and Evaluation) - Wellington - Permanent at Fire and Emergency New Zealand, Wellington - Wairarapa Mo tenei turanga - about the role:

In partnership with the Manager for Research and Evaluation, you will provide advice to stakeholders across the organisation on how research and evaluation can support our strategic priorities and key programmes. The role includes a mix of commissioning work through external providers as well as some in-house delivery. You will be responsible for lifting Fire and Emergency's capability around evaluation, and act as a mentor to the Research Advisor.

Bring your prior experience working in evaluation to this small team supporting a large organisation. You will face a wide range of issues, so you will bring curiosity and excellent listening skills, and an aptitude for critical thinking.

To be successful in this role, we'd expect you will have: At least five years' experience delivering social research and evaluation projectsIn-depth knowledge of evaluation approaches and how they are best applied in practiceExcellent relationship management skills and an ability to influence othersStrong communication skills, including written and orals skills, as well as storytellingWell-organised and able to manage competing priorities and deadlines He aha nga painga o tenei mahi mou? – Why you will enjoy working here:
