This is mahi that will improve the health and wellbeing of everyone in Aotearoa, and we've got an opportunity for you to be part of it…Te whiwhinga mahi| The OpportunityThe Team sits within the Te Whatu Ora Finance Directorate and is responsible for the collection of Te Whatu Ora Hospital's activity-based costing data including our costing roadmap, the development of reference costs and prices for hospital-based services and government revenue information management.The primary purpose of the Senior Advisor will be to provide advice, leadership, coordination and programme support to the Group Manager and wider Group leadership team.As a Senior Advisor you will be adept in portfolio management, development, maintenance and co-ordination of planning, processes, resources, reporting and operational activities for the programme.You will have highly developed written and oral communication skills, with an ability to analyse and communicate complex information in simple and clear ways that demonstrates sound judgement and enables effective decision making.You will have a proven ability to foster strong stakeholder relationships across all levels and mitigate risks and conflicts of interest.This intrinsic role requires you to have a great attitude, good communication skills, an ability to deliver, and a desire to get great outcomes for the Costing and Revenue team to improve the well-being of New Zealanders. You'll have experience in influencing people and contributing to the successful delivery of work programmes. A strong understanding of health costing, pricing and revenue approaches in New Zealand and the costing roadmap is highly beneficial.Tertiary qualification in a relevant field and/or equivalent experienceDemonstrated portfolio/project management and reporting experienceExperience working with costing and revenue in the New Zealand Public Health SystemThe ability to analyse and communicate complex information in a simple and clear way that demonstrates sound judgement and enables effective decision makingA commitment to being a good Te Tiriti partner in all your actions.
