As a Senior Accountant specialising in BAS, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional accounting services to our clients. You will have the opportunity to apply your expertise in preparing and reviewing BAS statements, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing valuable insights to help our clients optimize their financial performance. This role is perfect for an experienced and ambitious accountant who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and thrives in a fast-paced setting. About the role: Prepare financial statements, tax returns, supplementary tax eg FBT GST etc and other IRD forms Ensure compliance with tax regulations and identify tax planning opportunities Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to improve business performance Assist with reconciliations, general ledger entries, and month-end processes Supervise and mentor junior team members Communicate with clients and provide exceptional customer service Stay up-to-date with accounting standards, tax legislation, and industry trends About you: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably with a focus on BAS Strong knowledge of tax regulations and accounting principles Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to supervise and mentor junior team members Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Professional certification (CA or CPA) is preferred Why join us?
