Our client
Our client is a boutique Accounting and Business Advisory practice with an impressive client list.
The firm is relatively young but has already established a reputation for the quality of their services.
The role
Sustained growth and increasing demand for our client's services have created the need for an accomplished Senior Business Services Accountant to join the firm.
We are looking for a competent client accountant with a minimum of 3-4 years current NZ CA experience in business services.
The successful candidate
You may be CA or CPA qualified/or nearly qualified or qualified by experience.
You have solid grounding in all aspects of client accounting, tax compliance.
You have good systems skills and experience with MYOB and Xero.
Previous IFRS experience, while not strictly required, would be advantageous.
Duties & responsibilities
preparation of year-end financial statements
preparation of periodic tax returns
training/troubleshooting/assisting client with software issues/queries
reviewing work file prepared by less experienced team members
Various other ad hoc projects as required
