For this mission, we’re searching for a technical digital dynamo with a proven track record to help drive TheMarket forward through performance marketing activities with a focus on search.Reporting to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager, the newly created role of Search Marketing Executive is tasked with driving cost-effective, highly-qualified traffic primarily via Google Search and Google Shopping for TheMarket’s vast products and categories while achieving ROAS and GMV targets and reaching a wide range of customer personas.The ideal candidate would be a detail detective not afraid of a pivot with expert-level eCommerce campaign experience operating on both strategic and tactical levels. Using data-driven trend analysis and best practice strategies you will be collaborating with the marketing, trade and development teams to ensure ads cover our focus brands, retailers and categories.The successful candidate will get ‘it’ when it comes to knowing what topics and keywords are on-trend across our expansive categories which include: food, beverage, fashion, kids, living, beauty, toys, electronics, sports, entertainment, stationery, DIY and more!Key Areas of ResponsibilitiesFeed management/optimisation in platform across search, display, affiliate, retargeting, social):On-going maintenanceTitle optimisation at both SKUs and category levelHelp internalise feed optimisationSearch management:Campaign segmentation strategies especially across Google Shopping, feed & custom labelsShopping optimisation/setup to targetSupport new brand or product launchesKeyword level setup & optimisationAd copy setup & optimisationBudget management to daily/weekly/monthly forecast spendRemarketing – audiencesBidding management via google ads or search360Bulk upload management – Google Shopping, Google SearchMeet, analyse and report on KPIs such as traffic generation, CPC, CPA, ROAS, GMV and multi-channel attribution onsite and in-app.Investigate and implement with new projects, technology stacks and channels as requiredProvide on-going best practise and identify digital trends relevant to TheMarket’s goalsCollaborate with agencies, vendors and in-house teams in all areas impacting paid searchEvolve the workflow, strategy as well and the user funnel over time.QualificationsDesired ExperienceProven high-performing paid search management (1-3yrs) experience at an Enterprise level in Retail/E-Commerce with a passion for the build/execution of search engine and lead generation marketing campaigns (preferably for a high-volume consumer website)Experience executing high-volume search and metasearch campaigns working with PPC ad platforms (AdWords, Bing, other) and possess a solid understanding of streaming video tactics.
