Lead on-job training and development of seafood department staff as needed. Monitor seafood inventory levels and ensure product quality and freshness. Manage seafood department merchandising and ensure that seafood displays are attractive and well-stocked. Handle customer inquiries and concerns regarding seafood products in a professional and friendly manner. Food Safety, you will need to be able to follow our Food Safety plan. You will need to complete all required paperwork and follow all of the procedures included in the plan. Housekeeping will be a big part of this role; our department needs to be kept in a clean and hygienic state at all times. Administrative tasks and reporting related to the seafood department. Qualifications: Previous experience managing a seafood department. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the best seafood department standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced and customer-oriented environment. Good computer skills.
