About thisrole: Responsible for the management and cohesive functioning ofManufacturing, Scheduling, and Dispatch departments as well as implementationof lean manufacturing initiatives for the business.
About you: Ideally 3years' experience in the same or similar role.Exposureto and experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvementideologies.Applieslateral thinking, displaying an ability to identify solutions.Motivatedwith strong people management skills and experience.NationalCertificate in Frame and Truss Manufacturing an advantageExperiencewith MiTek technology will be an advantage.Knowledgeof NZS 3604: 2011 and an understanding of construction methodologyUp-to-datetimber and building knowledge.Candetermine timber requirements and apply knowledge of timber structureconstruction and make effective judgments.Ability tocope under pressure and to work to deadlines.A quickand alert mind with ability to adapt and be flexible.Effectiveproblem-solving ability.Ability toread technical documents and drawings.EnsureRiviera Prenail provides a safe workplace and develops a culture of teammembers keeping each other safe.Overallresponsibility for all scheduling and manufacturing requirements includingsetting up, management and maintenance of Smartsheet administration and anydevelopments needed. Overallmanagement of data input and integrity of the data to ensure an efficient andaccurate workflow for the technical, production and dispatch divisions.Proactivelyworking with internal and external stakeholders to keep the data accurate andrelevant to ensure an efficient and accurate workflow for the technical,production and dispatch divisions:Ensurecommunication with clients and customers is professional and aligns with ourterms and conditions to manage any potential exposure including leading thecommunication with reps, clients, and builders to ensure an efficient andaccurate workflow for the technical, production and dispatch divisions. Ensure theschedule reflects the jobs being manufactured are the jobs needed on site.Lead thedispatch function for the business.Implementationof LEAN and other manufacturing initiatives.Ensureremedials are dealt with quickly and professionally.Manage andlead the production team in our factory to ensure the production schedule isattained.Growcapability of the production teamUnderstandand operate within the regulatory environment as it applies to frame and trussconstruction.Supportthe creation and maintenance of an environment of safety, accountability,teamwork and performance.Ensure theeffective internal and external stakeholder management.Ensuresite complies with all WorkSafe legislative requirements.Ensure thecompletion of daily, weekly and monthly checklists and audits.Manage,coordinate and ensure all user defined maintenance is carried out as perpreventative maintenance plan.What's in it for you?
