Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga Scaffolding Full time As a Scaffolder you will undertake all instructions received by the Auckland Scaffold Manager and/or Project Manager in regard to scaffold services including: Calculating scaffold loadings and establishing an appropriate scaffolding platform to build onChecking worksites for possible hazardsIdentifying and logging of possible hazards Delivering scaffold and unloading of scaffolds from trucksLaying of wooden or steel boards (sole plates) on the ground to spread the weight of the scaffoldingsChecking of scaffolding structures and maintaining scaffold equipmentErecting all scaffolding as instructed for its intended useFitting steel tubes and support braces together to form the scaffolding frameworkFasten ladders and guard rails to scaffolding, including toe boardsDismantling and loading the scaffolding onto trucksRegularly inspecting scaffolding for safety You will also need to work safely and communicate well within a team while also being able to work independently.
