Sawmill Cleaner

We are seeking an Industrial Cleaner, for our manufacturing site. This role is physically demanding at times so all applicants must be physically fit.

Pukepine Sawmill and Purepine Mouldings Limited is a family owned business and a leading NZ manufacturer of quality solid and finger jointed timber products.

The Sawmill cleaner is responsible for cleaning the sawmill and its machinery, once it is shut down for the day. The duties consist of sweeping, cleaning saw dust, chips, bark and clearing fillets. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 4pm to 12am

Ideal applicants will have:

• Ability to walk, bend, push, pull and repetitively during working hours
• Ability to handle heavy cleaning equipment
• Is self motivated
• Excellent time keeping
• Dependability- Is reliable

In line with the company's objectives of providing a drugs-free site, the successful applicants will agree to participate in the company's drug testing programme.
Applicants should also have a full NZ driver’s license.

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
