Parklink is a dynamic team with over 20 years of proficiency in lake and pond restoration. Based in Napier, we service ponds and lakes throughout New Zealand and Australia and other parts of the world to keep them clean, aerated, and free from algae, sludge and weed. We offer products and expertise to our customers, and we pride ourselves on the knowledgeable service we provide.About the job:Our business is growing, and we are looking for a results-oriented salesperson to join our team. In this role you would be responsible for selling our fresh-water additive treatment products to councils, businesses and private pond owners through New Zealand and Australia. While you don't have to have experience in our industry, a background in a technical field would be advantageous.This role will be mainly phone-based in our offices collaborating closely with our team. A typical day would be warm and cold calling to generate interest and qualify potential clients. You will write quotes and proposals, record data using our CRM system and present products in person and via Teams to our clients. From time to time it will be required to travel to see clients in NZ and potentially Australia as you build confidence.About You:To be successful in this role you will need:- At least one year of experience in direct sales, or 2-3 years in a sales and customer facing role.- Sound skills using a computer-based CRM system.- Confidence working with the Microsoft suite and Teams.- A warm telephone manner.In addition to a generous salary, you will have access to our company vehicles to see clients, and you will be provided with a laptop and phone.We provide medical insurance and an achievable commission structure.How to Apply:If you are interested in working with a small team that works together to grow and succeed, and you want to grow your own skillset, this could be the role for you.
