Sales Representative

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right person to join ABD Group to work out of our Tauranga branch. We are specialists in all manner of bearings and stock a wide range of power transmission, seals and gasket products. We are proudly 100% New Zealand owned and operated.We are seeking a Tauranga-based Sales Representative  responsible for the sales and account management functions mainly in the Bay of Plenty and Rotorua regions.This role will suit a disciplined, balanced, self-motivated and modern business development professional with a strong client focus, who preferably has a demonstrable and successful track record in growing a diverse customer base.Key Responsibilities :The successful candidate will have proven sales and account management experience. With a focus on growth, you'll be comfortable identifying new opportunities as well as maintaining an existing customer base.Organise and maintain daily call cycle plans for all customers under your responsibility.Calling on customers per call cycle (occasional out-of-town traveling)Identify and call on prospective customers.Reach sales targets set.Provide timely quotations, secure and renew orders.Prepare call reports for the National Sales ManagerSkills and experienceGood organisational skills.External sales experience (preferably in the bearing and power transmission industry).Personable and engaging communication style.Initiative, high motivation and drive, and the ability to work autonomously.Be computer literate and understand the basic functionality of Excel.A remuneration package including health insurance cover will be negotiated based on experience, along with company vehicle, mobile phone, and laptop.Please note:A full clean driver's license is a must to fulfil the duties of this position.
