About the role Based in their modern and beautifully appointed sales office on the North Shore in Auckland you'll work closely with Technical Sales Manager and immerse yourself in the world of sales strategies tailored specifically for our meticulously crafted lighting specification products. These products play a pivotal role in diverse industries, and your role will be instrumental in ensuring our offerings meet and exceed customer expectations. Key Responsibilities Product Knowledge: Delve deep into understanding the technical specifications, features, and benefits of our products to effectively address customer challenges. Customer Interaction: Shadow seasoned Technical Sales Managers during customer meetings, presentations, and demonstrations to gain valuable insights into stakeholder expectations. Sales Support: Assist the sales team by crafting compelling sales materials, presentations, and proposals in collaboration with various departments. Relationship Building: Cultivate and nurture relationships with existing and potential customers, ensuring prompt follow-up on leads, inquiries, and requests. Project Management: Acquire a deep understanding of project stages, from conception to completion, ensuring seamless execution. To be successful in this position ideally you will demonstrate the below skills and abilities: Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Design) ideally. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to swiftly grasp technical concepts and convey them effectively to diverse audiences. Keen interest in industry technical trends, innovations, and practical applications. Self-driven with a strong determination to excel in a specification sales role.
