The candidate must have a positive and enthusiastic attitude, who understands the importance of providing outstanding customer service to our customers. The purpose of the Sales Consultant's role is to contribute to the overall success of the Company by maximising sales and providing quality customer service. The successful candidate will require the following personal attributes: > A strong focus on building solid customer relationships and selling a diverse range of flooring solutions > A passion for providing excellent customer service, self-motivated and a willingness to learn > A good team player and strong work ethic > Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a good level of computer literacy > Excellent attention to detail and accuracy > A quick and alert mind, with the ability to adapt and be flexible > A lateral thinker who can identify solutions > An ability to relate to people from all walks of life This is a permanent full time position working Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.00pm. Hours maybe negotiable There is the odd Saturday work from 9.00am to 12.00pm. Training will be provided on the job The successful candidate would carry out a wide range of duties including: > Front of house sales and handling customer enquiries > Answering phone calls from customers > Booking in measures > Making sure the showroom prices & samples are up to date > Speaking with supplier reps on new flooring lines coming out As we receive a large amount of applications for these roles, only short listed applicants will be contacted.
