Retail Assistants (Retail & Consumer Products)Animates is New Zealand's leading pet care company with 44 pet specialty retail stores, 28 grooming salons, 18 vet clinics and growing!As a Sales Assistant or Senior Sales Assistant, you'll join our passionate and knowledgeable Papanui team committed to making the world a happier place through the love of pets.We have two permanent, part-time positions available with the following shifts on offer:Sales Assistant - working 9.5 hours per week:Thursdays 9am-1pm and;Saturdays 11:15am - 5:15pmSenior Sales Assistant - working 29.5 hours per week:Sundays: 8am-12pmMondays: 12pm-6pmTuesdays: 2:15pm – 6:15pmWednesdays 10am - 6.15pm and;Thursday 10am-6:45pmWhat will I be doing?This isn't your regular customer service role. Here at Animates, the advice you give and the products you sell make a real difference to the lives of pets.Our values-led culture and extensive training will develop your expertise to provide specialist nutrition advice, suggest educational toys and know what fish species make good tank-mates + much more!
