Sales Assistant

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:  - You must be physically fit, as some heavy lifting may be required, and can work flexible hours. - A valid driving license is necessary for this position, as it involves delivering kegs and crates to clubs.  Applicants must have the legal entitlement to work in New Zealand and be 18 years or older at the time of the interview.  A clean police record and the ability to remain sober before and during the shift is required. You may be requested to undergo a drug test.   Your key responsibilities will include: - Listening to the manager/ team members and using a problem-solving attitude with a solution focus. If needed, ask for help or additional training to complete assigned responsibilities while adhering to Occupational Health & Safety guidelines. Continually developing product knowledge to assist customers with their purchases. Putting up attractive promotional displays, rotating stock, and replenishing shelves, fridges, displays, and chillers to drive sales. Taking charge of in-store housekeeping to maintain a safe and clean working environment. Ensuring proper checkout and cash handling operations by following company policies and procedures. To excel in this role, you should have: No qualification or prior experience required. We will assist in training, product knowledge, and gaining LCQ. The ability to work independently and follow company processes and procedures. A flexible and reliable team player, as the role includes weekend and evening work. The ability to build trusting relationships with team members, customers, and suppliers. Please be reminded that if you are chosen and do not possess sufficient Product knowledge or LCQ, it is expected that you will undergo training during the Break shift. Your responsibilities during this period will include filling and housekeeping tasks. This training is essential to ensure that you acquire the necessary skills, as both product knowledge and LCQ are prerequisites for serving customers at the counter.
