About the role
Join our busy Dunedin based team as a Sales & Service Technician/Installer. If you have a passion for sales and customer service while working in an interesting and fast paced industry, we would like to speak to you.
You will be working closely with the wider team on appointments, upgrades and delivering the highest standards for our customers across the Bay of Plenty region.
No two days are alike, so flexibility and a great attitude are essential.
This is a fantastic opportunity to challenge your sales and customer service skills (maybe you are looking to broaden your horizons in a Tradie role looking to progress into sales). This role has several functions, you will apply your sales and customer service skills and products knowledge and convert this into tailor made solutions that will provide home owners a healthy, warm and dry home.
You have the backing of a one of the largest companies in New Zealand who will provide you with all the training and tools to be a success.
Key responsibilities
Efficient installation and servicing of Ventilation & Air Conditioning products (training provided) Strong Sales background with a flare for upselling products and services Strong customer service focus - ability to engage and enhance our customer experience Consult with home owners and advise on healthier home solutions - become a subject matter expert on our products and services. Upgrade customers into more healthier home solutions - advise customers on all aspects of their investment in ventilation and air conditioning and the benefits of these home improvement solutions
Who we are looking for
You must be well presented and physically fit (you’ll be able to work from ladders and be ok with confined spaces) A sound knowledge of Health & Safety practices Sound customer service and sales skills – able to covert warm leads into a sale Solutions focused Well organized and a self-starter Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) You’ll enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and have an approach of ‘right first time, every time’. Have a current and clean driver’s license.
No experience is necessary as training will be provided (although applicants with experience of installations with an aspect of sales or customer services would be advantageous). Attitude is key, along with outstanding customer service. If you have fantastic people skills, enjoy meeting and talking to new people every day, and customer satisfaction is your goal, then we need to hear from you!
