Situated on sunny Hastings street in Napier with a stunning outlook onto Waiapu Cathedral Garden and Fountain you will find Boyd-Dunlop Gallery. Be surrounded by fascinating artworks everyday with the opportunity to talk art and share our artists stories with our clients and visitors. Boyd-Dunlop Gallery seeks a talented individual to join our small team. You will deal directly with clients and work to achieve sales for the artists we represent. Also build our client base and maintain communication directly with clients and potential clients through verbal and written communication social media and EDMs. As part of a small team you will use your initiative and be able to think on your feet and be flexible to help in all areas of the gallery when needed. You will be creative in dreaming up and implementing ideas to engage clients and represent our talented stable of artists to the highest level. Reporting to director owners hours are 10-18 over 2-3 days which ideally includes Sat or Sun or both. Availability to work more hours when required is preferable. Areas of Focus: Business to business relationships Customer relationships and service in the gallery Artsales in gallery Utilizing our mailing list and creating marketing material Key responsibilities include: Achieving sales Developing relationships with clients Growing our client base Maintaining our websites Creating marketing content Our Ideal Candidate : Have proven experience in customer service and sales Able to organise their time, prioritise and multitask when required Must be reliable, honest, driven and work with care and integrity. Tech Skills - Adobe Suite, Google, Canva Photography and Design Skills Website and Ecommerce - Shopify Be fluent in English (both written and spoken).
