Sales and Marketing Representative Human Connections Group has partnered exclusively with Otago Cleaning Supplies LTD to source an outstanding Sales and Marketing Representative covering the Dunedin region from their base located in South Dunedin The Company Otago Cleaning Supplies Ltd is a wholesale cleaning supplies company that has a first class reputation for its quality service level not to mention a superior range of products Since the business launched 25 years ago they have achieved a sustained yet rapid growth in the wholesale supply market The client base covers both the commercial and domestic clients and operates a state of the art retail shop as well as a regional supply service to clients around the lower South Island The Job To be successful in this role you will need to be able to use your creative skills to maintain the shop front the marketing platform as well as maintaining strong links with existing and prospective clients As business trends and levels will undoubtedly vary it is expected that the successful candidate will be able to navigate this with ease and adapt their focus to the relevant work area This role is a full time position operating primarily on a Monday Friday basis during the hours of 8am 5pm Alongside the base salary you will have full use within reason of a company car a phone competitive commission structure and an attractive staff discount The role is currently split into three sections In shop sales and support upkeep of the website and social media selling platforms and out of store business development retention The Person The successful person will be able to handle change with ease as well as working to further develop the business and its client base You will need to have a good level of fitness as there is some heavy lifting required be energetic and fantastic at dealing with a myriad of clients from varying backgrounds Key skills for this role Excellent upselling skills Good grammar written and verbal skills Strong communicator Team player Confident and customer service driven Accurate with strong attention to detail Self motivated and able to manage time wisely Problem solver In depth knowledge of social media marketing Strong user of software technology Quick learner Good sense of humour Minimum of 12 months in a customer facing sales role Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
