You will take ownership of all the SaaS processes and work closely with the business, ICT and procurement to ensure the SaaS solutions are appropriate, secure and cost effective from a total cost of ownership perspective.This role works closely with business units when they are evaluating new SaaS solutions to ensure we adopt a value-driven mindset and also to ensure the solution is compliant with Council and industry best practices for security and data privacy. In addition, ensuring that the solutions are supported by vendors and ICT team to an appropriate and agreed service level. This role has oversight of all SaaS solutions used in Auckland Council.He korero mou: About youYou have a Tertiary Level qualification preferably Business Management, Computer Science, Information Technology and/or an equivalent industry qualification, with at least 8 years’ experience in the implementation of business applications and integration technologies in a highly complex business environment.Since you will collaborate with Legal, Procurement and Security to continuously improve processes around evaluation, integration and governance within ICT, having a high-level understanding of application security, combined with proven track record in stakeholder management is an essential component in your role.You will also be involved in software licensing, service levels and contract negotiation; hence, your skills in vendor and contract management, along with your strong business acumen & excellent written and verbal communication skills will be heavily put into practice.Nga ahuatanga kei a matou: What we offerWorking 40 hours per week Monday to Friday; you will have flexibility with how those hours are set.
