Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity Our dedicated, agile and supportive team are looking for a physiotherapist to help our service deliver optimum care to the Tairawhiti community.
You will be joining our team as a rotational physiotherapist. As you progress through rotations you may be working in a range of settings: inpatient wards, outpatient clinic and in clients' homes. You will be providing physio assessments and treatment to the people of Tairawhiti. In our regional centre you will experience a range of conditions therefore a generalist physiotherapy skill set is highly valued. You will have a supportive and experienced team around you that share a vision of providing excellent physiotherapy care to the people of Tairawhiti.
We have 2 positions available; 1 x Fixed Term 6 months; and 1 x Parental Leave cover to July 2023. To be successful in this position you can demonstrate the following:
Hold current registration with the New Zealand Physiotherapy Board The ability to manage your time effectively Prioritising and responding to needs accordingly Ability to ask for support when you require it If you have an interest in any of the following areas; pelvic health, oncology and lymphoedema, paediatrics and cardio-respiratory we would like to support you and encourage you in this. We can offer training and enable supervision from current staff with expertise in these areas.
