Retail Sales Assistant

Our client based in Christchurch has an immediate requirement for an experienced Retail Sales Assistant to join their small but very busy team. 
Applicants must be very customer focused and presentable as the role involves a lot of customer contact. You will be required to assist customers with product enquiries and choices, arranging quotes for them, arranging deliveries and providing any information they might request; you will also need to assist with moving stock around the shop, loading lorries for deliveries and helping with the deliveries and the installation / assembly of furniture in customer premises. The role will also require some lone working.
Applicants must have a full clean driving license, will need to be over 25 for van insurance and will ideally have some driving experience; you must also be prepared for manual / heavy lifting work.
You will be required to work 37.50 hours across 5 days, including Saturdays; you will have Wednesday and Sunday off each week. Hours of work are 09:00 am till 17:00 pm, except Tuesdays when you would be required to start at 08:30 am. 
There is an immediate start available for this permanent position and we are able to offer a salary between £24k & £28k per annum dependent on skills and experience. The higher end will apply to people who have previous experience of furniture sales.
