Retail Operations Manager - Central North Island

We are currently seeking a Retail Operations Manager, based in the North Island. This role will be responsible for driving the sales and profitability of several company owned retail stores, which will include stores in New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Hawkes Bay, Wellington, Levin and Masterton.

About the Role:
This is varied and busy role that will see you working across the lower central North Island region, travelling to stores across the region. To really thrive within this position you will need: Proven experience in effectively managing people is essential, as well as the ability to develop sales processes and customer service excellence in all stores.The monitoring of budgets and profitability of all stores and assisting the store managers to achieve their targets, increasing turnover through development of the existing customer base and the procurement of new business in conjunction with the store managers, while maintaining and developing the brand identity of the stores. A strong focus on Health and Safety, immaculate store presentation and compliance is essential. The preparation of budgets and reporting is an integral part of this role.Experience in the tyre industry is useful but not a necessity - a results orientation and a substantial background in retail or wholesale management, training and development is crucial.Empowering Retail Store Managers to be accountable for the operation of their store and to supervise their performance.
