Retail Assistant

We are currently looking for Retail Assistant for our busy Vape Store located in Tuakau. Reliability and right attitude are key to succeeding in this role. You should be hard working, energetic, self-motivated and willing to go the extra mile to achieve results for our customers. You must be available full time, willing to work the morning, late evening and weekend shifts as the store is open 7 days.Job Title: Retail AssistantLocation: Tuakau, WaikatoNumber of position for this job: 01Employment Type: Permanent Full TimeMinimum guaranteed hours of work per week: 30 HoursDays required: Monday to Sunday (Rotating hours)Hourly Rate: $ 29.66Your duties will include but not limited to:Assisting the customers with the product queries, advising them about the different range of available vape products and pricesServing the customers at the checkout register to process the sale transactions, handling the cash registerMaintain a deep understanding of the current promotions and discountsPreparing the list of the products to be orderedBe part of the inventory stocktake on regular basisReceiving the inward goods, checking and tally the products against the purchase order, note the variance and inform to the managerStocking and filling the shelves on timely basisKeeping the store clean and tidy at all timesAdherence to the regulations and age verification processes for selling vape productsMeeting the occupational health and safety standards A successful candidate must have:Must be of above 18 years of agePositive and right attitudeTime management skills and ability to work under pressurePhysically fit and hardworking (some heavy lifting is required)Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and public holidaysNo Criminal RecordIf you can demonstrate the above attributes then we would like to hear from you.Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
