The role | Mo tenei turanga mahi: The Leadership position is mainly on site at Respite, working 40 hours preferred and being flexible regarding workdays over the 7 days a week, with an occasional on-call roster shift.
Primary Objectives for the Role: Establish and maintain a high performing team, working well as individuals and as a cohesive team Assist in managing financial, quality, administrative and operating systems Plan, organise, implement and evaluate the delivery of services to tangata whaiora. Supervise and manage the performance of staff Ensure a safe and effective service operation Be a contributing member of the management group and the Equip organisation Skills and Experience: Registered Health Professional Have a sound knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and be able to demonstrate bicultural concepts in practice, or willingness to learn.Comprehensive leadership skillsPrevious experience in Mental Health sector is advantageousHave a passion for mentoring othersStrong communication skills both written and verbalStrong technology skills, must be experienced in using Microsoft Office products and familiar with databasesStrong alignment with Equip's core valuesA clean full NZ drivers licenceNZ resident or a valid NZ work visaAbility to build rapport and empathise with people from diverse backgroundsIf you're interested in being part of a team that cares for people and brings about positive change click "Apply now" to submit your application.
