About this role This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on the environment and the Lower Hutt Community. You will:
Lead and manage the Resource Recovery Team programme to deliver high quality strategic planning and policy adviceProject plan and deliver actions identified in the Council's Waste Management and Minimisation PlanProvide advice to Council on waste minimisation and resource recovery matters and opportunitiesChampion behaviour change towards a more circular economyLead and support the development of business cases for resource recovery initiatives.About you The successful applicant will possess:
Proven experience in leadershipA relevant tertiary qualificationDemonstrated experience in strategy and planningAn ability to analyse and develop insights from researchExcellent project management skillsThe following is advantages though not essential:
