InterContinental Wellington is looking for a Reservations Manager to join our team and work closely with the both the Front Office & Commercial team.
Your day to day The Reservations Manager is responsible for the team that looks after all FIT reservations and group enquiries and support the department in achieving targets. Key responsibilities include:
Support the revenue and sales teams in hotel inventory managementProvide current information on the internal reservation situation and the external operating climateBuild strong relationships with our regular groups clientsConduct yield management and actively contribute towards revenue generation through effective management of the reservations departmentSupport the reservations team to provide a seamless reservations experience to our guestsCoach and mentor our reservations team members to support their ongoing developmentWhat we need from you Requirement of at least 3 years' experience in reservations, hotel front office operations.Work well as part of a team and an ability to lead the teamPrevious experience working in a hotel environmentExperience using a property management system such as OperaA relevant qualification at level 4 or above.Confidence in your communication skills and the ability to interact with customers and colleaguesWhat we offer You'll be rewarded for your hard work with a suite of benefits that supports you and your family's wellbeing, including:
