They need a dynamic Remote/Hybrid Resource Consents Team Leader to pioneer their team, blending innovation with tradition for community development's future.RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead the Resource Consents Team, ensuring adherence to regulatory procedures, particularly under the Resource Management Act 1991.Manage timely processing of resource consent applications and related decisions.Develop and maintain efficient systems to support the team's statutory obligations.CONTRIBUTION TO MISSION:Lead and develop a high-performing team aligned with the organisations values.Collaborate with management to set strategic direction for resource management.Enhance customer experience and satisfaction through effective complaint handling and continuous improvement initiatives.ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:Conduct staff appraisals and oversee performance indicators.Coordinate staff training and ensure compliance with policies.Contribute to policy development and process enhancements.Maintain professional relationships with stakeholders and ensure consistent decision-making.Support community confidence in legislative compliance.Foster cultural sensitivity and awareness in all interactions.QUALIFICATIONS:Tertiary qualification in resource management.Minimum five years of relevant experience.Minimum two years of staff management experience.Desired skills include report writing, resilience, and flexibility.Commitment to community welfare and continual improvement.Strong stakeholder relationship-building skills.BENEFITSHybrid working policy - choose daily where you work - office or homeRemote working – some positions can work from any location in NZFlexible start and finish timesPerformance recognition and reward framework – bonus payments and leave5 weeks annual leavePlease get in touch with Anna Mayhew for a confidential discussion to understand more about this role and its opportunities.Not the job you're looking for?
