Remote Customer Service Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Remote Customer Service Specialist to join our team at Farmers Insurance Exchange in Dunedin, Otago, NZ. This is a full-time entry-level position with the opportunity for professional development and growth within the company.

As a Remote Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to policyholders and agents through various communication channels including phone, email, and chat. You will assist customers with inquiries, claims, policy changes, and other related tasks.

Responsibilities:- Handle inbound and outbound customer calls with professionalism and empathy- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and efficient manner- Provide accurate information about insurance policies and coverage options- Process policy changes, renewals, and cancellations as needed- Collaborate with other team members to streamline processes and improve customer service- Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions

Requirements:- 1 year of experience in customer service or a related field- Resilient and energetic personality traits- Strong leadership and presentation skills- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer service software
