Remote Accounts Payable

Job Description:

Jacobs Engineering Group is seeking a Remote Accounts Payable to join our team in Nelson, New Zealand. This part-time entry-level position is perfect for someone looking to start their career in the finance field. We are looking for individuals who are adaptable, resilient, and have strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:- Process accounts payable transactions accurately and timely- Review and reconcile invoices and purchase orders- Prepare and process payments to vendors- Respond to vendor inquiries in a professional and timely manner- Assist in month-end closing activities- Maintain accurate and organized financial records- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field- Strong attention to detail and accuracy- Excellent communication skills- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines- Ability to solve problems efficiently- No prior experience required
