As a Registered Nurse you'll be completing assessments and patient care planning, providing care and evaluating outcomes of care for patients and their families, monitoring change to patient conditions and behaviours, reassuring and educating families, administering medicines and assisting residents with daily activities.
Skills and Attributes required:
- Registered Nurse with current APC and right to work in NZ
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Patience and compassion with a holistic approach to nursing to assist residents to maintain and improve independence where possible
- High energy with excellent time management
- Ability to lead and delegate
- Passionate about people - this will show in your person centred approach.
- A commitment to clinical quality, safety and improvement
- A proactive critical thinker
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To plan, deliver, supervise and evaluate professional Nursing care
- To Establish & managing effective care plans and assessments in partnership with residents & other members of the team
- To Provide supervises and monitors nursing care of all residents
- Supervises, orientates, coaches and evaluates Enrolled Nurses & Caregivers
- Establishing & maintaining effective relationships with Management, Key Stakeholders, residents and the team
- Facilitates regular meetings and clinical, educational sessions as required
- Actively involved in Quality Improvement Programs
