Older Adult Mental Health STAR PN Applications are sought from Registered Nurse with a passion for working with older adults. We are seeking to recruit a registered nurse to work primarily in the OAMH wing of the STAR PN ward.
The role will involve care of both the physical and psychological health needs of older adult with acute and complex mental health needs. The successful candidate will be working in a supportive, patient centered, multi-disciplinary focused area with access to appropriate training and development opportunities.
This is a permanent role, working primarily in the OAMH wing of the STAR PN. There will be the opportunity to expand your knowledge and skill set to work across either discipline in the future.
The successful applicant will hold a minimum of one mental health post graduate paper or has a willingness to complete a mental health post graduate paper or to complete NESP (Nursing entry to Specialist Practice – Mental Health) within an agreed time frame.
Hours of work will be 32a weekworking rostered, rotating shifts, including nights.
