Registered Nurse – Nursing Resource Unit

Dunedin Hospital
Casual and flexible ‘as and when required’ basis
Enjoy variety in your work!
If you are looking for a new challenge and enjoy variety in your work, then our Nursing Resource Unit wants to speak to you! Our Nursing Resource Unit at Dunedin Hospital has a pool of registered nurses who work across all wards in the hospital, and we are inviting applications for an experienced and motivated registered nurse to join us on a casual and flexible ‘as and when required’ basis
About the Role – what’s in it for me?
We are interested in hearing from enthusiastic registered nurses who would be able to adapt to any ward situation. This really is the role which will offer variety, pace and flexibility.
All roles include rostered rotating shifts 24/7 - incl. night shifts. We require our casual staff to be available all year round so if you have full year flexibility and would enjoy being a casual, this may be the role for you!
We’re looking for a nurse who is experienced and organised, friendly and calm, able to work independently and at the same time genuinely interested in the best outcome for both patient and team. To be considered the candidates must have or demonstrate:

Must have current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council and a current APC, with the right to work in New Zealand.
Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals.
Excellent time management, interpersonal and organisational skills
The ability to be adaptable, flexible and solution focused.

If you would like to broaden your experience and enjoy variety in the workplace, please apply today and tell us in your cover letter what you will bring to our service.
