Do you have skills, energy, and enthusiasm for medical nursing? Have you the skills and knowledge to join our Acute Medical Ward?
Applications are invited from Registered Nurses (nga Neehi) interested in working with BOPDHB Maori Health Services in our Inpatient Kaupapa Ward (2A) at Tauranga Hospital.
You will have:
Commitment to Kaupapa Maori care, some knowledge of Te reo me ona Tikanga as a way forward for Maori Health;
Ability to provide care delivery which contributes to the strong links that already exist between the community, Iwi and Hapu workers, providers and hospital based services;

An interest in cardiology, renal, general medicine, and gastroenterology would be advantageous.

This is an opportunity to learn and work within our Nga Pou Mana o Io model of practice, by providing whanau centred care. These positions are suitable for both Year two Registered Nurses who have successfully completed a new graduate programme or experienced Registered Nurses.
